MOBILE, Ala. (NBC 15) — Welcome to Jimmy’s Backyard: A Son of a Sailor Fest Pop-Up presented by Kona Big Wave! We’re toasting to Mobile’s son and patron saint of Gulf Coast music, Jimmy Buffett, right here in his ol’ backyard with a free pop-up celebration in downtown Mobile at the Cedar Street Social outdoor stage on September 12.
Enjoy fantastic Gulf Coast bands toasting to Buffett and sharing original music, craft vendors, artists, and cold drinks and hot food from the Outsider Sports Lounge and the Insider Food Hall. Think of it like a big backyard Buffett party.
Don’t forget to stroll past muralists at work as part of Mobtown Mural Fest. We are proud to be a featured venue for Mobile’s first large-scale mural festival put on by the Mobile Arts Council. You will have the opportunity to watch artists create, meet muralists, and explore Mobile through a new artistic lens…
