CLARK COUNTY Wash. (KPTV) – A 76-year-old man suffered minor injuries after a single-engine airplane crashed into Yale Lake in northeast Clark County on Wednesday morning, according to the sheriff’s office.
At about 11:30 a.m., deputies with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, along with water rescue and emergency medical crews, were sent to the reservoir on the Lewis River after reports of a small plane crash into the water.
Officials learned that the 76-year-old pilot, the only person on board, had been able to get out of the plane before it sank and was rescued by local boaters. He was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for minor injuries…
