The Kay family of Pipersville is channeling grief into action, pushing Pennsylvania lawmakers toward a bill that could reshape how the state punishes drunk driving deaths, reports Hank Flynn for Fox 29.
The family has spent years campaigning for Joey’s Law, named for Joseph “Joey” Kay, a Plumsteadville volunteer firefighter killed by an impaired driver in June 2024.
