Weaverville Road reopens after flooding in Woodfin, police say

WOODFIN, N.C. (WLOS) — UPDATE: As of 7:09 p.m., Weaverville Road has reopened, according to the Woodfin Police Department.

A portion of Weaverville Road in Woodfin is closed due to flooding amid heavy rain, local officials confirmed.

In a social media post, the Woodfin Police Department said there is currently a closure from the Hot Spot located at 110 Weaverville Rd, down through Senator Reynolds Rd. Weaverville Road at Breckenridge Pkwy is also closing, police said…
