Cape Coral’s Seven Islands developer hit with $11.4 million lien in Palm Beach dispute

An $11.4 million construction lien was filed against Forest Development, the company developing the Seven Islands property in Cape Coral.

The May 13 claim regards unpaid construction costs on the Nautilus 220 development in Palm Beach County. Kast Construction, the general contractor for the development, filed the lien for unpaid labor, services and materials on the $269 million development, according to Palm Beach County records.

The lien will remain active for one year. If Forest Development does not pay the requested amount before the lien expires, Kast Construction may file a lawsuit to foreclose on the property…
