CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A young girl is dead after drowning Wednesday night, according to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police report.
Around 5:19 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, first responders were called to a neighborhood pool on Newbridge Road. This is in a neighborhood off Shopton Road West.
Officials say a 5-year-old girl drowned in the pool and was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. She later died at the hospital from her injuries…
