One of the things that makes the Delano neighborhood feel so lively is that people driving down West Douglas can often see crowds of people enjoying patios at restaurants like The Monarch and Vagabond Cafe.
By this fall, people who frequent Delano will have another big patio to enjoy.
Business partners and friends Ray Uriarte and Jose Medina are working on a new coffee shop called Vicio Coffee, which will take over the space at 730 W. Douglas that was occupied by Scuba ICT until it moved to 104 N. Osage. (The space was also once home to a short-lived crepe restaurant called Keeper of the Crepes, which opened just before the COVID-19 pandemic.)…
