SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – State prison offender Jose Sanchez has died.
According to a news release from the SD Department of Corrections, Sanchez, 61, died at the Jameson Prison in Sioux Falls Wednesday.

He was serving sentences for attempted first-degree murder and simple assault on law enforcement out of Minnehaha County.
