PEARL CITY (KHON2) – For Pearl City residents, pedestrian lights on one of their busiest intersections, Waimano Home Road and Hoomalu, has been a long time coming.
“We’ve waited five, six, years for this, you know we’ve already had some fatalities, and there’s close calls almost every day for this particular intersection,” said Larry Veray, Pearl City Neighborhood Board chair.
