NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — Investigators are working to determine what caused a house fire in North Charleston that left three adults dead Thursday night.
North Charleston firefighters responded to a home at the corner of Wasp and Sterrett streets around 9:06 p.m. after reports of a structure fire. When crews arrived, they found smoke and flames coming from the front of the home. Neighbors told firefighters someone might still be inside, prompting crews to immediately begin a search.
Deputy Chief Christian Rainey said firefighters quickly located three victims inside the home. Each was removed from the house, and crews performed CPR and other lifesaving measures before all three were pronounced dead at the scene…
