Christopher Nolan’s acclaimed screen adaptation of the nearly 3,000-year-old epic poem “The Odyssey” is now showing in 70 mm IMAX at Celebration Cinema Grand Rapids North.
The cinema joins a small fleet of 41 cinemas around the world with the capability to host the rare format, just 25 of which reside in the United States.
“Of course, Christopher Nolan is one of the best directors there is,” said Jesse Forquer, Director of Technology at Celebration Cinema. “This will be a true cinema experience and as you can see, we put a lot of love bringing it to Grand Rapids. It has been a lot of hard work to make this happen.”…
