A man was arrested for stealing a Los Angeles Police Department cruiser near BMO Stadium and driving the vehicle to Orange County.
The incident occurred on July 22 as the man stepped into an LAPD Crown Victoria that was parked at 38th and Figueroa streets in Exposition Park around 8 p.m.
The area was filled with visitors as a match between LAFC and Real Salt Lake was taking place at the nearby stadium.
