NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Nearly a month after spending nine days in jail, Joseph Williams is once again living under the pavilion at South Inglewood Park, the same place where his arrest under Tennessee’s felony camping law has sparked debate over public safety, homelessness and how communities should respond.
Williams was arrested June 28 and charged with two felony counts of camping on public property and one misdemeanor count of evading arrest.
