Mayor’s Office, Department of Cultural Affairs Vow to ‘Do More With Less’ at Budget Hearing

On Thursday morning, officials from the Mayor’s Office and the Department of Cultural Affairs appeared before the Jersey City Council to review their proposed budgets for 2026. The hearing took place as the administration works to close a reported $255 million budget deficit, purportedly left by former Mayor Steven Fulop.
