Only 1 theater in all of Florida is screening ‘The Odyssey’ in ultra-rare IMAX 70mm format

Securing tickets for The Odyssey is still tough a week after release, but this is one you have to see on the big screen. The ultimate way to watch it is in IMAX 70mm — as Christopher Nolan intended — although there’s only about two dozen theaters in the U.S. equipped with these rare projectors.

In Florida, there’s really only one place you can go: the AutoNation IMAX Theater in Fort Lauderdale.

Located inside the Museum of Discovery and Science, it is the sole theater in the entire state able to project native large-format 70mm film. It features a six-story-tall screen measuring 60 feet high by 80 feet wide, also making it the largest movie screen in South Florida!…
