St. Louis man charged in hit-and-run crash that killed 20-year-old

ST. LOUIS — A St. Louis man has been charged in connection to a deadly hit-and-run crash that killed a 20-year-old woman last year in the city’s Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood.

According to court documents, Dunn was crossing the street in the 2500 block of North Grand Boulevard around 1:15 a.m. on Aug. 16, 2025, when 38-year-old Banditoe C. Farmer Jr. allegedly hit 20-year-old Tori Dunn with his car. The impact sent Dunn into the air before she crashed into a parked car. She died from her injuries.

Prosecutors allege Farmer drove to the Eagle Express gas station in the 3700 block of North Grand after the crash, where he abandoned his car and walked away with items in his hands.

Days after the crash, the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department identified Farmer as a person of interest and released his mugshot, warning the public that he had left the scene and should be considered armed and dangerous.
