A Pittsburgh police sergeant has pleaded guilty to his second driving-under-the-influence charge in the past five years.
Tariq Jamal-Francis, 45, of Plum, will serve six months’ probation after borough police said they found him asleep at the wheel of an SUV that was sitting at an angle with its driver’s side wheels resting on Saltsburg Road in November 2025, according to a criminal complaint.
