Two cannabis manufacturers have announced plans for mass layoffs totaling more than 100 positions at their Santa Rosa facilities this fall, with an executive at one of the companies citing ongoing financial struggles for the cannabis industry statewide.
CraftForce Services Inc., the manufacturing arm of CannaCraft, will lay off about 60 employees on Sept. 20, according to a July 22 Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act notice. The layoffs will impact workers, the majority of whom are production technicians, at facilities on 2330 Circadian Way and 2753 Giffen Ave.
CannaCraft in 2022 announced it would merge with March and Ash, a Southern California dispensary chain.
