EUGENE, Ore. — A man who reportedly fell from a watercraft near the Clearwater landing on July 20 has died, according to the Lane County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said deputies and Eugene Springfield Fire responded at about 4:10 p.m. to the report. Fire personnel rescued the person from the river and quickly transported him to a local area hospital, but he did not survive.
