SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Salt Lake City lit up the sky with a Pioneer Day drone show.
Tonight, to celebrate Utah’s Pioneer Day, Salt Lake City had three hundred drones flying through the air, creating aerial displays to celebrate the state at Liberty Park. The show started at approximately 10 p.m. and the drones flew approximately 700 feet in the sky.
From celebrating the places that make Utah iconic, like the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium…
…Or Temple Square…
…to celebrating Utah’s most iconic mascot, including Tusky the Mammoth, the Utah Jazz Bear, and the Salt Lake City Wizard, tonight’s drone show pulled out all of the stops.
The show even highlighted some of Utah’s favorite desserts. Some are classics that everybody loves such as ice cream:
Others are a little more local, such as this display of green Jello:
Utah’s iconic dirty sodas didn’t make it into the show, but the show did highlight what Utahns have to look back on…
