Driver charged after South Carolina deputies injured in DUI rear-end crash

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A Goose Creek man is accused of drunk driving and rear-ending a Berkeley County patrol vehicle, injuring two deputies, officials said.

Two deputies with the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office were injured on Thursday after an impaired driver struck their patrol vehicle just after 9:30 p.m. on North Main Street in Summerville.
