DeWine, ODOT announce $72M for road safety projects in 23 Ohio counties

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — On Tuesday Ohio officials announced $72 million in funding for 33 transportation safety projects aimed at reducing deadly and serious crashes in 23 counties across the state.

Gov. Mike DeWine and Ohio Department of Transportation Director Pamela Boratyn said the projects will be paid for through ODOT’s Highway Safety Improvement Program.
