TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Students across the country will be able to start the school year with a new backpack this weekend as Round Room, one of the nation’s largest Verizon authorized retailers, brings back its annual “School Rocks Backpack Giveaway.”
The company said it plans to give away more than $3 million worth of free backpacks to families at participating TCC and Wireless Zone stores on Sunday, July 26, starting at 1 p.m. local time. The giveaway is one backpack per child who is present, while supplies last.
