SF church holds candlelight vigil to honor ICE victims

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – An indoor candlelight vigil to honor the most recent victims of ICE violence is taking place Saturday evening in Sioux Falls.

Spirit of Peace UCC is hosting the vigil, which will be honoring the lives of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo, Johan Sebastian Duran Guerrero, Juan Coronilla Durán, and Jesus Manuel Arias-Silva.

“Life is sacred and everyone deserves justice and peace. Diversity is beautiful and every one of our neighbors deserves the same protections. Come together in community to share your grief, your hopes, your anger, your disappointments, and your love for all of our neighbors.
