Cole Davies had to work a little harder in Moto 2 of the Washougal (Wash.) National, but not too much harder. He went over the holeshot line in fourth, passed Carson Mumford and Chance Hymas in the middle of the first lap, and passed Ryder DiFrancesco before the second lap went up on the board.
With a sweep of the motos, Davies was scored the overall winner.
DiFrancesco earned the holeshot and briefly had visions of the overall victory after finishing second in Moto 2. He didn’t allow Davies to completely disappear, but settled into second at the finish. With the 2-2, DiFrancesco finished second overall…
