CINCINNATI (WXIX) – Monday is a First Alert Weather Day due to the chance of severe storms expected throughout the afternoon and evening, according to the FOX19 NOW Weather team.
The Tri-State is under a slight risk (a level two out of five) for severe weather.
Monday will be mostly dry during the start of the day, allowing for temperatures to warm up to highs near 90 degrees.
Storms could arrive around lunchtime, but the chance for severe weather increases significantly as the day progresses.
Heavy rain and damaging wind are the primary threats, though hail and tornadoes are possible as well.
