DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — After a dry and pleasant weekend, some changes are coming as we start the new work week. For one, the humidity will be back at full tilt, but there’ll also be showers and thunderstorms on Monday into Monday night and early Tuesday.
Some storms could reach severe limits with damaging straight-line winds being the main threat. However, some hail and an isolated tornado can’t be ruled out. Additionally, some storms may produce very heavy rainfall. The entire Miami Valley will be in a Level 2 risk on a 1 to 5 scale with 1 being the lowest threat and 5 being the highest from 8 a.m. Monday until 8 a.m. Tuesday.
