FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – One Fort Wayne native and author made his way back home to celebrate his book that recently made No. 1 on the New York Times bestseller list.
Michael Benner is a Snider High School graduate and author of the children’s book ‘Mac & Cheese: The Origin Story’. The book charts the journey of a pasta noodle, Mac, as he ventures into a new land, Quesoland, and discovers the true meaning of friendship. The first book in the Delicious Duos series was released in July of 2026 and reached No. 1 on the New York Times bestseller list.
Benner offered a book signing event at Sunbound Books on North Anthony Boulevard on Saturday, where he read his books and caught up with his hometown fans.
