EAST LANSING, Mich. (News 10) – More than 8,000 people in Michigan have been sickened by the cyclospora parasite, and some Mid-Michigan shoppers are not waiting for answers — they are heading to local farmers markets instead.
State health officials have speculated that lettuce or salad greens are a likely source of the outbreak. The investigation remains ongoing.
