CHATHAM COUNTY, Ga. (WSAV) – Late Saturday night, the Chatham County Fire Department (CCFD) assisted in a search for three kayakers thought to be missing.
Around 9:20 p.m., units were dispatched to Kings Ferry to provide mutual aid to Bryan County Fire in the search. The Chatham County Police Department (CCPD) was also present.
Shortly after the search began, it was confirmed that the kayakers had safely returned home.
