OGLE COUNTY, Ill. (WIFR) – After a woman is cited with driving more than 60 mph over the speed limit, the sheriff’s office reminds drivers to slow down.
Just before 6 p.m., July 25, an Ogle County deputy was using a radar to monitor speed in the 7000 block of S. Illinois Route 2.
A vehicle was stopped for traveling at 121 mph in a 55-mph zone, according to the deputy.
Laura Wheeler, 40, of Dixon, was cited with speeding and disobeying a double yellow no passing zone. She was released at the scene with a notice to appear in court…
