A round at The Quarry Golf Club yesterday in San Antonio turned ugly when a dispute between two men in the same group exploded into violence, leaving one man in the hospital and another detained by police.
San Antonio officers were called to the course around 4:20 p.m. after reports of a confrontation that escalated on the grounds. One man was hospitalized with what police described as non-life-threatening injuries, while the other was taken into custody at the scene.

San Antonio police told KSAT that the clash began when one man struck the other with a golf club. In response, the other man pulled out a knife and stabbed him, according to the report.
