SEDGWICK COUNTY—Last week, Kansas Highway Patrol Troopers initiated a traffic stop on a known felony parole absconder who had an outstanding warrant for battery on a law enforcement officer, according to a social media report from the KHP.
When troopers initiated the stop, the driver fled, prompting a pursuit. A trooper successfully deployed stop sticks, disabling the vehicle.
