Key Biscayne package thief arrested 6 months later

Key Biscayne police arrested Raymond Anthony Delgado of Hialeah on Thursday, July 23, at a Miami Gardens probation office, more than six months after he allegedly stole packages UPS had delivered to an apartment building in Key Biscayne, according to court records.

The 32-year-old, who has a prior felony record, is accused of stealing packages valued at nearly $6,850 while he was out on probation for another theft, a third-degree felony, until March 8, 2028, according to court records.

Delgado now faces three new felony charges: burglary of an occupied dwelling, third-degree grand theft and unlawful use of a communication device. His bond was set at $15,000 — $7,500 for the burglary charge, $5,000 for grand theft and $2,500 for the communication device charge. He entered a plea of not guilty…
