One person is dead after an early morning crash in Salem, AL. involving a bicycle and vehicle according to the Salem Volunteer Fire & Rescue department. Volunteers were dispatched to the scene at 4:00 am on Monday July 27, 2026. The incident occurred in the eastbound lane of US Hwy 280 between Lee Road 183 and Lee Road 184.
