Driver Stops For Gas In Middle Of California Police Chase That Reached Speeds Of 130 MPH

A 45-minute high-speed police chase across Los Angeles had an unexpected pit stop when the suspect stopped for gas in the middle of the pursuit.

While the driver of the maroon Dodge Charger with blacked-out windows reached a speed of 130 miles per hour in an effort to get away from the cops, he wasn’t in too big of a hurry to ditch his car when it apparently started getting low on gas.

The pursuit, which went from the West Valley to Pasadena on Sunday night, went on for so long and reached such high speeds that at various points during the chase, a KABC News helicopter actually lost sight of the Dodge Charger…
