ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — An Escambia County bar owner is behind bars facing several charges.
Deputies say a loud music complaint at Our Spot on W Michigan Avenue turned into a physical confrontation with law enforcement early Sunday morning.
Cortney Wright, 40, is now charged with:
- battery on a law enforcement officer
- resisting without violence
- operating a bottle club without a license
- obstruct officers where beverages are sold
- marijuana possession
- noise ordinance
According to the arrest report, deputies responded to Our Spot on Sunday around 3:15 a.m. after repeated complaints of loud music. The report says Wright — known as P-Wee — is the owner/operator of the establishment…
