South Tampa’s former Pinarama Bowling Center sells for $3.2M

The former Pinarama Bowling Center has sold for $3.2 million, putting the longtime South Tampa site under new ownership.

Indraplace Tampa LLC bought the 38,520-square-foot property at 5008 S. Dale Mabry Highway from the Board of Trustees of the Florida Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, according to recorded sale documents.

Built in 1956, the 13,231-square-foot building was long home to Pinarama Bowling Center, a neighborhood spot known for league play, open bowling, a bar, snack bar and arcade. It is still classified as a bowling alley/skate rink.

Josh Podolsky, a land use attorney who represented the buyer, announced the closing on LinkedIn, calling it a full-circle moment after years of bowling there with his grandfather, father and friends. Podolsky was not immediately available for comment…
