MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – Happy Monday! It is a very muggy and also foggy start to the morning for parts of southern Wisconsin. A Dense Fog Advisory has been issued for the following counties: Dane, Green, Iowa, Jefferson, Lafayette, Rock, Walworth, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Racine, and Waukesha. This will continue until 8 a.m. Monday. Visibility may drop as low as 1/2 mile in areas of dense fog, so drive with caution this morning.
The latest model data this morning and current radar is now suggesting that storms will stay to our north and east today, and this is becoming more clear as we have continued to watch the movement of the storms up north near the UP. We will monitor for the potential of some pop-up storms along a cold front later today, though that is not looking very likely…
