CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A report released this month by the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance found that the 16-county Charlotte region gained 49,324 residents through net migration between July 2024 and July 2025, an average of 135 new residents every day.
“The region is growing faster than more than 42 other states as a whole,” said Tracy Dodson, the alliance’s Chief Operating Officer.
The figure is slightly lower thanthe 157 per day reported last August.…
