COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Good Tuesday morning! We are waking up to another very warm and muggy start across east Alabama and west Georgia. Temperatures are beginning the day in the upper 70s, and the humidity is already quite high, making it feel uncomfortable early this morning.
As we head through the day, temperatures will climb quickly. By lunchtime, most locations will be in the lower 90s, and highs this afternoon are expected to reach the upper 90s. When you combine those temperatures with the oppressive humidity, it will feel more like 105 to 110 degrees at times. If you have plans to spend any amount of time outdoors, be sure to take frequent breaks, drink plenty of water, and limit strenuous activity during the hottest part of the day.
