As many as 17 lobsters were seized during a late-night patrol by the officers of the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) in Los Angeles County during an operation targeting poachers.
Five suspects were arrested earlier this month for various lobster-related violations, the department announced Monday, July 27. They were later released after being issued citations.
