Miami’s historic Water Pump House is a coral-rock marvel that originally served as the municipal water supply for the early Bay Shore development. Built around 1923, the grotto-like building went on to serve as a private residence, multiple dining destinations and even an abandoned property that narrowly survived a destructive fire.
Today, its preserved architecture and the cascading greenery of EOS Garden offer the perfect backdrop for Mediterranean dining, weekend gatherings and intimate celebrations.
Named after the Greek goddess of the dawn, the new restaurant gracing the space focuses on renewal, heritage and the communal joy of gathering around the table. It is the brainchild of hospitality professional Ilyas Ortatepe and Chef Halit Avuka, and features local ingredients to honor Greek, Turkish, Anatolian and Levantine traditions.
Signature dishes include diverse meze spreads, from muhammara and whipped feta spreads to sea bass carpaccio and grilled octopus, in addition to Adana kebab, char-grilled lamb chops, whole Mediterranean sea bass and Aegean moussaka…
