MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – Efforts to finalize negotiations between Jackson Hospital and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama continued Tuesday during a status hearing in bankruptcy court.
Attorneys indicated discussions are still ongoing between the two sides. Blue Cross Blue Shield is expected to alter its reimbursement rates as part of an agreement aimed at helping the financially troubled hospital remain open.
