SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — Very hot and humid conditions are expected to develop for Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon along with some mid-week thunderstorms.
Tuesday morning will start partly sunny and warm, with low temperatures in the upper 70s to lower 80s expected.
Temperatures through the morning hours will quickly climb into the middle 90s before noon. High temperatures in the upper 90s to 100°F are expected.
The humidity is going to be high enough that heat index values over 105°F to 110°F are possible. A heat advisory has been issued from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday for the Coastal Empire and Lowcountry due to the excessive heat.
