PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – A man headed to Atlanta was arrested after Transportation Security Administration officers found what authorities believe was about 60 pounds of marijuana in two checked suitcases at Portland International Airport, according to court documents.
Josiah Sumner was traveling June 28 when TSA officers identified a checked suitcase containing about 30 pounds, 10 ounces of a vacuum-sealed green leafy substance believed to be marijuana, documents say. Officers traced the bag to Sumner after he checked it and contacted law enforcement.
