DNA links skull fragment to headless body found along Delaware River

DNA testing has matched a skull fragment found in Northampton County to a headless body recovered five years ago along the Delaware River in Bucks County, authorities said this week.

The Bucks County Coroner’s Office continues to investigate the death of the man whose remains were found on Aug. 25, 2021, near a boat dock along Trails Lane/River Road in the Upper Black Eddy area of Bridgeton Township, Chief Deputy Coroner Scott Croop told lehighvalleylive.com Tuesday.
