From short term rentals to full service dining, Marcia Davis has built her name across several corners of the hospitality industry. She now co-owns ESCO Restaurants and Tapas in Marietta alongside her husband, adding to a growing list of ventures she has launched since her early twenties. She shared her approach to staying profitable in a difficult restaurant economy.
What inspired you to become a serial entrepreneur?
I have always had the entrepreneur spirit since I was little. I have been owning businesses and trying to open up things since I was [younger]. As soon as I was able to put this stuff into effect and get business licenses as of 2021, I started right then and there. I always had the mindset that I wanted to open my own business because I did not want to live in poverty.
