FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – A child who was just an infant when he was severely injured died 10 years later, and the Allen County Coroner’s Office announced Tuesday his death was ruled a homicide.
The coroner’s office identified the boy as 10-year-old Tayshawn Amere Ross, who had suffered head trauma as a baby in 2016 that doctors predicted would leave him blind and unable to chew food or swallow on his own. The coroner’s office said it was notified of his death this past Friday, a decade later.
