In recent months, I’ve written a couple of blogs in honor of the Spry Middle School building turning 100 years old. They included a History Bit I posted last September, and a more recent blog in early June when students and staff there celebrated the occasion.
But I was poking through some old blogs recently and came across this one which I wrote on March 27, 2014 which I thought would also be appropriate to re-post. I actually did feature this as a Bygone Blog back in 2023, but it’s got some fun facts which I thought people would enjoy reading again.
